Notwithstanding the above, the information collected through 311Literacy.com is stored by each of the allied companies of 311 Literacy LLC that have their own regulatory powers. For this reason, the responsibility for the publicity, accuracy, and timeliness of the same is exclusive to the company, and each one will be responsible for the processing and use of the data provided by the user in accordance with the applicable regulations. Users should be aware that when accessing this portal, they may be directed to other sites outside of our control. 311 Literacy LLC does not endorse, represent, or guarantee the Privacy Policy or content of any third-party site linked from or to the 311Literacy.com site.

Data subject to processing. LThe data collected through the 311Literacy.com portal, either by registration or through other sites of allied companies and associations linked through 311Literacy.com, are not sensitive data and consist of the following: full name, email address, phone number, school name, country, state, city, full name of the student, grade, native language.

Purposes of processing personal data. Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

a) To send you information from 311Literacy.com;

b) Data required to carry out a digitized procedure, such as creating accounts with our allied companies and institutions;

c) To perform statistics that allow us to improve your experience as a user;

d) And other transmissions provided by law.

311 Literacy LLC (311Literacy) provides registration services for reading tournaments in partnership with other digital platforms.

311Literacy is a Limited Liability Company registered in the United States. These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. As used in these Terms of Use, the phrases “311Literacy services,” “our service,” or “the service” refer to the services provided by 311Literacy to promote reading, learning, and education and to interact with books and content, including all features and functionalities, recommendations and reviews, the website, and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.

By using 311Literacy services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of this site and any of its applications constitutes full and express consent by the user to observe and adhere to each of the terms and conditions contained herein, as well as to the privacy policies, security policies, and, if applicable, any other documents that form part of or govern the user's participation in this site. If any of the terms to which the user must adhere when accessing this site are contrary to their interests, they should refrain from using it.

User obligations

  1. By using this site, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of use set forth in this document (hereinafter, the “Terms and Conditions”), and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions and privacy notice of the allied companies with which the reading tournament is executed. Therefore, by accessing the site, you agree to adhere to the above.

  2. The information and services offered by 311Literacy.com (hereinafter referred to as the Site) exclusively refer to the regulations governing them in the United States of America.

  3. By using the information and services, the user expresses their acceptance and agrees to the terms and conditions of the site, as well as any modifications made thereto.

  4. Users not residing in the United States of America who wish to access the site must ensure that their access and use of the site, its content, and/or services are permitted in accordance with their own legislation.

  5. The user agrees to use the 311Literacy service, including all features and functionalities associated with it, in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and restrictions. The user agrees not to archive, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works based on the service, or offer for sale/rent, or use (except as expressly authorized in these Terms of Use) books, content, and information contained in or obtained from the 311Literacy service. We may decide to cancel or suspend your account to protect you, your students, 311Literacy, or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.

  7. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability. The 311Literacy service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties or conditions. In particular, our service is not warranted to be error-free or without improvements. You waive all special, indirect, and consequential damages against us. These terms do not limit any non-waivable warranties and consumer protection rights to which you may be entitled under applicable laws in Mexico and the United States.

  8. Waiver of class actions. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND 311LITERACY AGREE THAT EACH MAY ONLY ASSERT CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR PART OF A CLASS IN ANY CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Additionally, unless both you and 311Literacy agree otherwise, the court may not consolidate claims from more than one person with your claim, nor may it otherwise hear any representative or class action.

  9. Miscellaneous

    • 9.1. Governing Law: These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.

    • 9.2. Customer Service: If you need more information about our service and its features or need assistance with your account, visit the 311Literacy Help Center on our website (www.311Literacy.com). In the event of a conflict between these Terms of Use and information provided by Customer Service or other sections of our website, these Terms of Use will prevail.

    • 9.3. Continuity: If any provision of these Terms of Use is declared invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

    • 9.4. Changes to Terms of Use and Assignment: 311Literacy may change these Terms of Use as necessary. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance if these new Terms of Use apply to you. We may assign or transfer our agreement with you, including our associated rights and obligations, at any time, and you agree to cooperate with us regarding such assignment or transfer.

    • 9.5. Electronic Communications: We will send information related to your account (e.g., password changes, confirmation messages, notices) electronically only, such as via emails to the address provided during registration.
